OSHA Relations Committee Update
On Any Given Day There Are a Finite Number of Skilled, Competent Tower Workers

How long does it take to train a worker to be a competent climber? How long does it take to train a competent climber to be a competent, skilled tower worker? There is a difference.

Once a worker is a competent climber, what is required to elevate that worker to the status of a qualified, skilled worker? How much time is required to attain this skill level? Can this skill level be obtained in a classroom setting only, or does it require on-the-job training as well? How much on-the-job training is required?

These are all pertinent questions that can only be answered by those with years of experience within the tower industry.
