Seeing the names of these 18 new NATE member companies helps me put a finer point on the good news for this month’s article -- NATE Membership is continuing to increase.
Not only is NATE adding new members every month, our overall growth has surpassed the number of members we had at this time one year ago. This increase is a tribute to all NATE member companies who remain involved in the annual success of the Association. My thanks go out to each and every one of you who dedicates your time and talents to NATE’s accomplishments.
Now that February is upon us, the Membership Committee is looking forward to our opportunity to get together at the annual NATE Conference & Exposition. Our time in Orlando will give us another opportunity to discuss the Association and how we can continue to best serve our members.
How this Association can meet member needs is a question that is as old as NATE itself. The Association has answered that call in numerous methods, including: safety resources; legislative and regulatory involvement on behalf of tower erectors; the increased education of federal regulators; and the development of best practices and standards for the industry. Perhaps the best demonstration of meeting our members needs will be right in front of us this month.
The 11th Annual NATE Conference & Exposition provides NATE members with outstanding opportunities. There is free OSHA 10-Hour training, educational sessions for both tower hands and management, and the industry’s best collection of products and services displayed at the 11th annual NATE trade show. Of course, there are also the four days and three evenings of opportunities to network with industry leaders, see old friends, and make new ones. This year’s show promises all this, and more.
As we enjoy another NATE annual event, we are all reminded that February marks the unofficial beginning of another year at NATE. This is our best opportunity to come together as an association and lay the groundwork for the next 12 months. NATE’s rising membership is one of many indicators that we are looking forward to another successful year.
